SCPSDFA TRIALS DETAILS 19-20
Sutton Coldfield Primary School District F.A.
The trials will be held on Friday 28th June and Saturday 29th June 2019. All trials will be held at Boldmere St Michaels FC, Church Road, Sutton Coldfield B73 5RY on 3G turf fields. Please note for all the open trials it is not unusual to have 100 + trialists so the registration process can be time consuming. To ensure we do not have a delayed start please ensure you do not leave it until the last minute to register.
Boldmere St Michaels enforce a STRICT footwear policy in which only children and adults wearing moulded football boots will be permitted to enter the playing surface. Please ensure your child is equipped correctly with moulded football boots and shin pads to avoid disappointment.
An admin fee of £5 will be required for each child trialling, this covers the cost for facility hire and equipment costs. This can be paid by cash or cheque on arrival at the trial. If the admin fee is not paid then the child will not be selected to represent the district teams.
It is essential that your child attends the open trial for their age group so the teachers and coaches can get a fair assement of the players capabilities. If you are unable to attend the trial then please contact us ASAP to discuss other potential arrangements.
After the conclusion of the open trials you will receive an email notification that your child has unfortunately not made it through to the last 36 trial, they have been selected for the last 36 trial or they have been successful in gaining a place in the Boys U10 Gifted and Talented squad. It is not unusual that some year 4 players may be asked to attend the last 36 trial and be offered a place in the BU10 G&T squad if we believe they have the capabilities to represent the U11 Boys team.
Once again It is essential that your child attends the invitational trial if invited as the teams will be selected after this point.
